Text Box: We have so much going on right now!!! To begin with
between the months of December and January, our class raised
our Fluency scores by an average of 26 words! What an amazing accomplishment! Let’s see what happens for the month of February!!
We have also started working on our projects for Black History Month. More information on this can be found by clicking on the Project List link below or on the side of this page.
We just finished up with second quarter conferences and for those parents that I had the opportunity to speak with, I really enjoyed talking to you about your child’s academic progress. I look forward to speaking with those of you I haven’t gotten to yet.
This year’s science Innovations fair will be taking place March 22nd—26th. We are gearing up to get ourselves ready for that big day. Be sure to come visit us on the 26th! The fourth graders will be studying different aspects of Life Cycles. Please be sure to discuss with your children what they are learning on the topic of life cycles!

We also have an exciting attendance incentive going on right now. If
students are in school 15 out of the 17 days of school in February, they will earn an ice skating field trip and the opportunity to wear jeans to school.
