T. Michael Bolger, who founded MAS nearly 20 years ago, has left an incredible legacy in the Milwaukee Academy of Science and many other Milwaukee instituions. The school staff and Board of Directors remembers T. Michael Bolger as deeply passionate about children, learning, and the health sciences. Mr. Bolger served on the Board through 2012. He continued to address staff annually at our holiday party and visit the school regularly. In 2016, he was honored with the first Milwaukee Academy of Science Excellence in Urban Education Award in his name. This award will continue to be given each year. The Milwaukee Academy of Science is proud to carry on T. Michael Bolger’s legacy.
