MAS celebrated our Grand Opening of the STEAM Innovation Lab on Monday, October 28th. The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee has chosen us to be their largest new site. Our newly renovated STEAM Innovation Lab and College and Career Center includes a full science lab, technology work-spaces, maker-space equipment, and a two-story work platform in a unique glass atrium. This renovation was funded by the Harley-Davidson Foundation as part of a larger $1M grant over four years to implement teen programming for 6th -12th graders. We are honored to have two full time Boys & Girls Clubs staff work on-site at MAS and run a variety of after school programs and career development and training opportunities that will impact hundreds of teens at MAS. The Hartford Financial Services Group and IKEA also made significant contributions to the project. We look forward to witnessing our scholar’s innovation in the STEAM Innovation lab at MAS.
